“Habit-less” Void

As of late…the past month…I feel that I have been a habit-less void. I am not going to tag this as good or bad seeing as being habit-less means you’re void of good or bad habits. All that to say- acting as a formless blob without a daily routine was fun but is starting to feel…endless…in a negative way.

So this morning- I woke up and decided…I need a routine again. So today will be a reset day. I thought I would get on here and say: “Everyone. I mean everyone falls into the habit-less void. No matter how disciplined or strong you are. You are still simply human.” People tend to attack themselves for taking a break. This is neither kind or useful for yourself. Everyone needs a break and everyone needs reset days. I thought knowing that a fellow human fell into the void and trying to reset with as little self-judgement as possible.

The rest of the blog will be the daily habits I would like to re-install to my routine. Keep reading if your interested or leave knowing that it’s okay to be resetting or sitting in the void today. 🙂

The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion.

Mindful Habits

For me- to get out of the habit-less void involves making a list of what habits I would like have in my daily or weekly routine. Without further ado- here is my list of what I want back in my life. 🙂

  • Mindful Daily Movement
  • Daily Journal/ Review
  • Less Social Media Consumption
  • Mindful Consumption- THINK & Need what I buy.
  • Mindful Eating and Drinking
  • Daily Hobby Activities: Art, Writing, Reading
  • Learn Something New everyday

That is all for today. I hope you enjoy your break or enjoy the art of resetting. As for now- happy reading. I’ll see you all soon.

  1. Word. We all need to take breaks. It’s impossible to not take them. Either you make time for them or they make time for you; and when they make time for you it’s usually not when you want it lol
